Co-Sponsored by City of Lapeer We are excited to invite you to our 2nd annual run/walk/virtual event, 5K 4 the Kidz, which will take place at Rowden Park and is open to all ages, abilities and fitness levels. We aim to make a significant difference in the lives of the children in our community. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Kiwanis Inclusive Playground.

PRICING & REGISTRATION
Registration is open to individuals of all ages and abilities with the option to run or walk. You can even participate virtually if unable to make it to the event!
Adults (15 yrs & older): $35 ($40 day of event)
Kids (14 yrs & younger): $20 ($25 day of event)
WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION?
THE COURSE
The beautiful 5K course will start and end near the pavilion at Rowden Park. You will travel along the 1-mile trail around the park which takes you by the future location of our current Legacy Project - the Kiwanis Inclusive Playground - a universally accessible, inclusive, and nature-based recreational play space. You will then continue outside the park at Pine Street through the Lapeer downtown area before reentering Rowden Park at Pine Street to complete the loop and finish near the pavilion.

PACKET PICKUP & LATE REGISTRATION
Event day packet pickup and late registration will take place under the pavilion at Rowden Park beginning at 7:30 am on event day until race time.
PARKING
Parking is available at Rowden Park and in the designated parking lots along M-24 (N. Lapeer Road).
RACE TIMING & PHOTOS
Race timing will be run by Newton Timing. Race results will be available within minutes of finishing and candid photos will be embedded in your bib number the following week.
