The Kiwanis Club of Lapeer is raising funds for its newest (and largest to date) Legacy Project, an all-inclusive and nature-inspired playground at Rowden Park in Lapeer. This playground will be a unique addition to the city park system, Lapeer and surrounding counties.
Providing an inclusive playground of this caliber in Lapeer will enrich the community by ensuring that children of all abilities become more confident, build essential skills, meet new people and learn tolerance at a very young age. |

LOCATION
Rowden Park 1552 N. Main Street, Lapeer, Michigan The playground will be located at Rowden Park in Lapeer County. Located conveniently off of N. Main Street (M-24) across from McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital, this 65-acre park boasts an array of amenities including one mile of continuous asphalt pathways, two boardwalks over the wetland areas, two pedestrian bridges, two pavilions, baseball field, smaller playground with safety surfacing, sledding hill, two parking lots, and year-round restroom facilities. |

WAYS TO SUPPORTWe offer many ways in which you can help us reach our goal.
Become a Sponsor. You can choose to donate any monetary amount, or you can choose to sponsor a particular piece of equipment. The following sponsorship levels include your logo or name (in increasing size depending on level) on a permanent sign at the entrance to the playground indicating your level of support, logo or name with backlink on our website sponsor page, and Facebook recognition. Additionally, when you sponsor a piece of equipment in full, a recognition plaque will be added to that item with your logo or name on it.
Become a Supporter. You can also choose to donate a lesser amount of any monetary value. Every dollar helps! Donations of $2,499 or less will receive name recognition on our website sponsor page.
Become a Community Partner. You can also choose to provide goods and/or services required for the project. As a Community Partner, you will receive the same benefits noted above depending on the monetary value of your donation. We are currently seeking community partners to assist with the following:
